Developer Howard Hughes asked Design Collective, Inc. (DCI) to design a mixed use neighborhood surrounding the ever growing Columbia Mall area in Columbia, MD. DCI provided Sketchup models, landscape plans, and material selection. City approvals and marketing materials were the purposes for this work. We were asked to create views providing emphasis on the substantially sized common areas and to represent the proximity to the local outdoor concert/arts venue (viewable in the top left corner of the rendering). Sketchup, 3DS Max, Mental Ray, and Photoshop were utilized to generate this piece.
